Welcome to the New Regime home page. New Regime is a new band based out of upstate New York. The group is led by Rob Lindquist (founder, co-leader, composer, keyboardist) and Eric Walentowicz (co-leader, composer, saxes) whose compositions comprise elements of many different music genres including: traditional- modern jazz, funk- jazz, ECM-style jazz, hip hop-urban grooves, fusion-rock and world influences. Also, this group in no way has any connections/associations with any racial or political agendas ...nor to any group or organization....the name "New Regime" is just a name...representing for us a pioneering of new directions musically. Our goal being: trying new things, fusing many elements of music, new and old into our sound- arriving with something all together unique.
